Print Finisher Overseer

Longridge Print are a leading producer of printed material. With an enviable blue chip client base made up of high profile brands.

We are now looking for a Print Finisher Overseer to join our busy bindery team, you will be required to finish a range of commercial print to a high standard. We currently print B2 Litho and Digital within our purpose built site.

The role will entail:

  • Liaising with the Production Director and organising a daily work schedule
  • Setting, running and maintaining Polar guillotine
  • Setting, running and maintaining 2 x folders
  • Setting, running and maintaining Muller 6 station Stitching Line
  • Setting, running and maintaining cylinder
  • Quality control at every stage of the process
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • 5 weeks holiday per annum

Apprentice Finishing Assistant

Longridge Print are a leading producer of printed material. With an enviable blue chip client base made up of high profile brands.

We are now looking to offer BPIF approved NVQ Apprenticeship Schemes within our fast paced finishing department.

The position will be on a Shift pattern rotation 06.00 - 14.00 week one and 14.00 - 22.00 week two. This position will pay a weekly wage of £150 per week. Depending on training results a full time position will be on offer.

Although no technical skills are required for the right candidate as all training will be given on the job, a mechanically minded hands on candidate would be advantageous.

The desire to learn new skills is essential, as are good communication skills, and a strong work ethic. An enthusiasm for print is desirable. Good maths and English skills are required in order to be able to understand and interpret job details and instruction.
