Getting your artwork ready for print is easy as one, two, three.
1. Check your images, all linked files and images should be CMYK and 300 dpi
2. Check your spelling, a simple task but the most common of all printing errors is a spelling mistake.
3. Output correctly: the majority of print jobs require a minimum of 3mm bleed and the addition of crop marks on the PDF.
When we send back proofs - either via digital PDF or physical proofs - it is the closest accurate representation of the final print. Don't assume that everything looks the same as the file you sent; elements set to overprint, low resolution images and incorrect colours should all be checked before giving the thumbs up.
