Climate neutral printing offsets the exact amount of green house gases emitted during the production of your printed product. At Longridge, with help from ClimatePartner, we calculate the CO2 emissions of the specific printed product.
This includes the emissions of the raw materials, printing and transportation. Each process is taken into account. The CO2 emissions are offset by supporting a recognised carbon offset project that reduces CO2 emissions effectively.

Even in a digital world, there is a need for printed brochures, flyers and promotional materials. The first step is to ensure that we use papers from FSC certified sources for all corporate printing services.
The FSC stamp of approval means that the forests are sustainably managed, with more trees being planted each year than are chopped down. European forests have been steadily increasing in size since FSC Certification was introduced.
Recycling has never been more important and making sure we all do our bit is imperative. However, we often throw away things that we think can’t be recycled when actually, they can. An example? Ink paper and plates that are used for printing have the potential to release toxic materials into the environment if they are mindlessly thrown away without a second glance we are increasing environmental damage. Here at Longridge we ensure we recycle our waste products such as paper aluminium plates ink so that they can be sustainably recycled for use in the future.
